TROX looks back on the 2011 financial year in satisfaction. The turnover of the Group has developed very positively from EUR 350 million by 11 % to about EUR 390 million and thus lies above the record-making year 2008. In comparison with the prior year, the TROX GmbH turnover in Germany has risen in the two-digit percent range, thus, reaching the company's highest ever domestic turnover of more than EUR 120 million.
3,300 people (prior year: 3,200) are currently employed at TROX in its 24 subsidiary companies in 23 countries and thus on five continents. With 13 production facilities, 25 additional own sales offices, and more than 50 importers and representatives, TROX is the world market leader for the development, manufacturing, and sale of components and systems for the ventilation and air-conditioning of rooms in the area of air-conditioning and ventilation components.
For the past financial year, Lutz Reuter, Chief Executive Officer of TROX, also draws a positive balance: "Through the expansion of our production in Anholt, the introduction of the X-CUBE air handling unit in Germany, our entry into a new plastic technology, and a number of additional new developments, we have solidified and further expanded our position on the market."
