CIRCULAR SUPPLY DIFFUSER FOR EXPOSED INSTALLATION

Tellus-PBM-LØV is a circular supply air diffuser for exposed installation, combining the well-known Tellus-LØV diffuser with a new patented modular plenum solution. The new plenum solution provide increased flexibility, extended product lifetime and reduced environmental impact in buildings with changing requirements.

General information

Application

Tellus-PBM-LØV is a circular supply air diffuser designed for exposed installation. The diffuser provides excellent induction and is suitable for both constant and variable air volume systems. It is particularly

well suited for installations where visible ventilation components are desired or required. The integrated PBM plenum enables the product to function as both an air distribution device and a measurement and regulation unit. The modular PBM design allows the product to be adapted if installation requirements change, for example when converting from exposed installation to ceiling installation. This makes the product especially suitable for buildings with frequent refurbishment or changing tenant requirements.

Functional description

Tellus-PBM-LØV distributes supply air through a front panel with design-protected LØV perforation. The airflow pattern is rotational as standard, ensuring high induction and efficient mixing of supply air with room air. The diffuser features a fixed slot height, allowing easier commissioning.

The PBM plenum:

ensures even airflow distribution
incorporates an airflow adjustment damper
includes measurement outlets for commissioning
contributes to sound attenuation

The integrated damper can be locked in any position for precise airflow regulation. The product can be equipped with the X-SENS-TPDM sensor, integrating temperature measurement and presence detection

(PIR), enabling demand-controlled ventilation.

The PBM plenum introduces a cylindrical, modular design replacing traditional fixed plenum solutions.

The modular design enables reuse of the product in new configurations, reducing the need for replacement.

Material and surfaces

The diffuser is manufactured in steel.

Standard finish:

Diffuser front powder coated in RAL 9006 gloss 30, for an unpainted steel design.

Optional finishes:

Special RAL or NCS colours on request. The diffuser front and plenum box will then be painted in same color.

The PBM plenum:

manufactured in galvanised steel
internally lined with sound absorbing polyester material
equipped with EPDM rubber gasket on connection spigot

The LØV front panel ensures robust construction and consistent airflow performance.

Commissioning

The PBM plenum includes:

integrated airflow adjustment damper
measurement outlets for airflow verification

The damper is accessible via the removable front panel.

This enables simple commissioning, accurate airflow adjustment and easy re-balancing if system requirements change.

Maintenance

The removable front panel provides easy access to:

damper
measurement points
internal components

Maintenance is minimal and typically limited to inspection and cleaning.

The product is designed for long service life and stable performance.

Environment

Tellus-PBM-LØV is designed to support sustainable building solutions by extending the actual service life of ventilation products. In modern buildings, ventilation products are often replaced due to layout changes rather than technical limitations. The patented PBM concept enables reuse by allowing the product to be rebuilt and adapted between different installation types.

Quick selection based on dimension and sound power level dB(A). The air volumes are given with a pressure loss of 30 Pa, or fully open damper if the pressure loss exceeds 30 Pa at fully open damper.
