Orion-LØV-V2 med Luna

Application
Orion-LØV-V2 is intended for supply air applications in modular ceiling systems and other ceiling installations where a square diffuser front is required. The diffuser is suitable for comfort ventilation in non-residential buildings such as offices, schools, meeting rooms and similar areas.

The product is designed to provide stable air distribution and efficient mixing of supply air with room air. Orion-LØV-V2 may be used with different connection arrangements or plenum solutions, provided that the combination is dimensioned and documented for the relevant application.

Luna is intended for use as a plenum box in ceiling-mounted air distribution systems. Depending on the connected diffuser and documented configuration, the product can be used for supply air or extract air.

The plenum box is used where improved sound attenuation, airflow adjustment and measurement are required. Product performance depends on the complete combination of plenum box, diffuser front and installation arrangement.

Functional description
Supply air is discharged through the perforated LØV front panel.
The perforation pattern creates a rotational air pattern, providing high induction and rapid mixing with the room air. This contributes to good thermal comfort and helps reduce the risk of draught in the occupied zone.

The removable front panel provides access for installation, inspection and cleaning. Depending on the selected system configuration, it may also provide access to components installed behind the diffuser front.

Luna connects the duct system to the selected diffuser. The integrated damper can be adjusted and secured in the required position. The measuring outlet and measuring tube support airflow verification during commissioning.

The damper is removable and provides access to the connecting duct for inspection, cleaning and maintenance.

Design
Orion-LØV-V2 has a square diffuser front with design-protected LØV perforation and rotational air pattern as standard. The visible front panel is removable and designed for integration into different ceiling systems.

The diffuser is available in different sizes and ceiling adaptations.
Variants prepared for X-SENS TPDM allow integration of temperature measurement and presence detection directly in the diffuser front.

Luna has a rectangular casing and is available with one or two size changes between the inlet and outlet.

A low-profile version [UI] is available with the outlet fitted inwards. This version has an approximately 20% lower capacity.
The distance between the diffuser and plenum box can be increased by up to 350 mm without extending the adjustment wire or measuring tube.

Material and surfaces
The diffuser front panel and visible ceiling components are manufactured in steel. Standard finish: RAL 9003, gloss 30 Optional finishes: Special RAL or NCS colors on request

Luna is supplied with a galvanised finish. All four internal walls are lined with sound-absorbing polyester material. The connection spigot is fitted with an EPDM rubber gasket.

Commissioning
Commissioning depends on the selected system configuration and any connected plenum box, damper or airflow regulation unit. Orion-LØV-V2 as a diffuser front does not in itself define the complete airflow measurement or regulation function.

When used as part of a tested air distribution unit, commissioning shall be carried out according to the documentation for the complete product combination.

Commissioning shall be carried out with the connected diffuser front fitted. Pull the measuring tube and adjustment wire through the front, adjust the damper and secure the wire with the clamping nut. Tighten the clamping nut properly so that the damper cannot change position.

Use the airflow factors stated on the valid product label or in the commissioning documentation for the complete product combination.

Maintenance
The diffuser front can be removed for inspection and cleaning.
Maintenance is normally limited to periodic cleaning of visible surfaces and inspection of the diffuser opening.

Cleaning intervals should be adapted to the building use, indoor environment and applicable maintenance routines.

Clean accessible surfaces with a damp cloth. When the duct system is cleaned, remove the connected diffuser front to obtain access to the duct. When Luna is installed, remove the distribution plate and damper to provide free access.

Environment
Orion-LØV-V2 is designed for long service life, stable performance and easy maintenance. The removable front panel supports inspection and cleaning, and the product can be used in different system configurations where compatibility is documented.

Accessories
Orion-LØV-V2 can be supplied prepared for X-SENS TPDM. The sensor is mounted in the diffuser front and combines temperature measurement and presence detection by PIR. This enables room-based demand control when connected to a compatible control system.

The sensor integration preserves the diffuser function while allowing room sensors to be positioned in the ceiling without separate wall-mounted devices.
