APPLICATION

FAD and CAD are access door systems for cleaning and inspection of rectangular and circular ducts.

Design

The access door system comprises:

  • Quick-release clamps are used to attach the panel. The frame is designed to provide the correct compression at clamp ends, and this ensures that the panel is held in place. A “tooth-grip profile" is used to secure the frame to the duct, and allows for easy installation in duct wall. In order to ensure adequate sealing between panel, frame and duct wall, the frame has been fitted with a neoprene gasket.

DESCRIPTION

Material and surfaces
The access doors come in a galvanised steel finish, and are compression moulded for improved strength/density.

INSTALLATION

Grooves in ducting are cut by using the template provided.
